The best place to eat in rawlins. I had the lobster ravioli and it was sooooooo good. Also the carrot cake for dessert, very moist cake and homemade. You will enjoy. It is pricey so if your not wanting to spend money then this is not the place for you. Also they don't open until 5 pm.

Horrible service, just hired new cook. extremely slow, took along time to get food. Three of the four got food right away, never got the forth plate out. Canceled the order, because everybody was already done eating. Horrible would not recommend!!!

Had a great evening with my wife and got to meet some new people...highly recommend.

The food was delicious! We tried the Seafood Fettuccine in their Baton Rouge Sauce, and the Lobster Ravioli also in the same sauce. Quiet and unique atmosphere, delicious food and service!

An absolute hidden gem! Some of the best food I've ever had! I had the blackened ribeye and my friend had the filet. And we both had the sauteed mushrooms.

Friendly staff. Upscale menu with steak, pasta and fish dishes. The Baton Rouge sauce is very good. Items a bit pricey for the area but worth it. We were stopping over in Rawlins for the night.

We were tired and it was late. The food was delicious, the Alfredo sauce is homemade and rich and yummy. Our waitress waa darling from Texas , well priced . A great find.

Stopped by for a lunch as we went through town. Great spot. The cheese burger is large and very tasty. We also had the salmon salad. Neutral salad but the fish was excellent. Recommend this place to any and all. Our server was also a very nice young lady.

A beautiful old building converted nicely to an intimate fine-dining restaurant isn't something you expect to see in a small Wyoming town, but here it is. The service was really good (especially considering the number of stairs they had to climb hundreds of times a night), but some of the dishes seemed a bit uninspired. The mushroom soup was a bit like the typical food service option, and the same with some of the appetizers. Probably to be expected so far from fresh sources. The specials were exceptional, with a good flavor and cooked to order. Overall this is a gem in the middle of Wyoming we'll stop here again.

The food was absolutely delicious! Much better than I expected from such a little place. Full of character & charm... If I'm ever in the area again I'll be sure to visit again!

Having just been told I'm being moved to the area my wife and I and another couple who were with us went to Aspen house. Food was fantastic. Yes service was slow but we didnt feel it mainly due to our conversation. Easily one of the best if not the best steak I have ever had. I have lived in San Francisco, New York, Denver among other places so i know foo . I highly recommend this restauran .

I live aspen house. It feels so fancy when you walk in. The always friendly staff. And food has always been great, a bit more salt on the steak would go a long way!

We dined here in 2016 and it was so good we came back again in July 2018. The food here is excellent. The first night my wife had a beef stir fry and I had a sirloin steak. Both were excellent but the steak was so good we both ordered steaks the next night. You can't go wrong here for a great dinner.

Phenomenal food. Great atmosphere and service. They have a truncated menu in the winter because it is not as busy. They have private rooms upstairs that are really nice and quiet. Their wine list is great, their beer list is pretty weak, but that's not usually what people are there for. The steak medallions where amazing. They have really good pasta as well.

Best Take Out we ever had to include during COVID-19. Outstanding meals and desserts. Best and thickest cut Sirloin steak I can remember having. Husbands Ribeye was outstanding. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Grilled asparagus was awesome. Delicious garlic mashed potatoes. Food was brought out to us in our truck by a wonderful and friendly young lady. Not the cheapest but great quality. A wonderful find in a small town during our travels.

Well went there today Nov 12, 2019 at 6 pm and their sign says opens soon. They are not open for business. Do not go by their hours listed.

Aspen house is charming. From the moment my husband took me there seven years ago till now it’s my favorite restaurant in Rawlins. Cozy atmosphere. Cheerful servers. Always treated nicely. Food excellent. I highly recommend this fine dining restaurant.

One of the better places to eat in Rawlins. Kind of strange atmosphere, but the food was good and the staff was very friendly. They've got quite the variety of fish and meats on the menu too!

Food was a little expensive but that's what you get for quality. Steak meal and the lamb special was fantastic. Service was good but the place was a little small but it wasn't busy so that wasn't an issue.

Incredible! This stands as one of the best restaurants that have been to. What a find! The quality of this food would not be out of place at a high-end restaurant in Manhattan! I will stop here every time I'm in town!

I have not been to the Aspen house or at least three and a half years

Food was good, but service took a very long time. Food and drinks are pricey as well. Will say the Chicken Alfredo my son had that I tried was probably the best I've ever had. The fried calamari for an appetizer was also delicious. But dang was the service slow. I will say our waitress was new, so hopefully that is not the norm

My favorite place for Steak! I love the Elegant look with the comfortable feel of a family celebration at Grandma's.

Everything was good. Waitress was very friendly. Loved her Texas accent.

Closed for renovation. Would be nice if they updated the website to say that, so we didn’t waste a drive.

Great food, large portions. Easily accommodated my 2 y/o daughter's dairy allergy! Great place to get a healthy, well-cooked meal after travelling for a few days!

This is a really good local dining restaurant. Me and my wife came here on our anniversary and the place was clean and friendly. Set in an older house with a little Victorian outside feel and old west inside feel. Our food was great. Each table sits in a small room with 1 other table, so its really intimate dining.

Such a quaint, quiet place to dine. I had the shrimp linguini and it was excellent. I would recommend it for a relaxed lunch or dinner.

Our yearly visit to this absolute must try never disappoints. Once again they have filled our bellies with delight!! Thank you...see you again next year.

Absolutely amazing food! They have a great atmosphere and the best food I've had in a long time. Definitely recommend you go! There can be a bit of a wait but its definitely worth every second.
